March 2025 - Wishing the Russell Rovers Ballad Group Singers (lead by Mossie Champ our club President) the very best of luck in the county finals of Scór 2025 which will take place tonight at the Éire Óg GAA pavilion in Ovens.
The group claimed first prize at the East Cork finals held 2 weeks ago with their renditions of ‘The Ballad of the Mary Stanford’ and ‘My Irish Molly’, and so go forward to represent the Imokilly division at tonight’s final.
We wish Mossie, Aine & Sophie O’Keeffe, Maurice Whelan and Mary O’Sullivan all the best in tonight’s competition.
